Biography
Daryl Williams began singing, playing the piano and writing Gospel music at the age of seven. God began preparing his heart and talents at a very young age for a lifetime of music ministry. He grew up in San Jose and Sacramento, California. With a bachelors degree in music, Daryl's career began as a high school choir teacher, but his overwhelming desire to travel and minister music took him down another path. This young man has had the rare opportunity of being a member of two legendary family groups, The Blackwood Brothers and The Speer Family. Daryl never forgets to pay tribute to those who paved the way for him. He says, "I could never repay the Blackwoods and Speers for all they taught me." "It was an honor to stand beside them on stage." Daryl Says one of the biggest highlights of his career is appearing with his Gospel music heroes on the Bill Gaither Homecoming videos with the Speer Family and now his own trio.
A prolific songwriter of over 1100 Gospel songs, Daryl's music has been taken all over the world through television, radio, the Billy Graham Crusades and the Gaither Homecoming series.
