If The Rocks Could Talk

Moses struck the rock and the water came forth
Don'tcha just know that rock could tell about the power of the Lord
David took him a stone and made the giant fall
I feel sure that stone would gladly give a mighty witness about it all

If the rocks could talk if the stones could sing
They'd glorify our miracle working King of Kings
But that's our job and we're never gonna stop
Giving Him praise sayin' what they'd say if the rocks could talk

The devil showed Him some stones said "Turn them to bread"
But the stones stayed still 'cause the Lord stayed true...
And spoke the word instead
That rock at the tomb couldn't hold Him inside
And it rejoiced with all creation when the Savior came forth alive

We're gonna testify we're not gonna hold our peace
Those rocks will just have to keep being silent for all eternity
